Nearly two years ago, we organized โDetect & Protectโ with our partners, a unique conference on counter drone technology that made national headlines. Since then, UAS have become even more widespread. This opened up many fantastic opportunities but also created serious new security challenges. Itโs clear that the time has come for a follow-up. That is why the province of South-Holland and Unmanned Valley are organizing โDetect & Protect 2โ.
Detect and Protect
Detection and protection go hand in hand. Identifying unwanted or potentially dangerous UAVs is the first step. Which detection methods are most effective today? And what if a drone is controlled via fiber optic cables or powered by AI? Even with answers to those questions, another remains: how do you actually neutralize the threat? Can existing systems withstand swarm attacks? And how do you ensure reliable protection without breaking the budget? These are the real-world challenges youโll be able to discus with leading experts.
With the NATO Summit approaching, Detect & Protect II will provide an early glimpse at how security preparations and new technologies will shape the protection of major events. Our event takes place just a couple of days before, making it especially timely for professionals and decision-makers in the security and defense space.
As drones continue to evolve in capability and accessibility, staying ahead of emerging threats is not optional โ itโs essential. This conference aims to set the tone for a smarter, safer response.
Program
We’ll have inspiring keynote speakers, exciting live demonstrations, and valuable insights from specialists with operational experience. Our program will cover both civilian and defense applications, two worlds that are highly connected in this field. From integrated sensor systems to advanced signal intelligence, the event will highlight how modern C-UAS capabilities are being adapted across different sectors. Whether you’re involved in public safety, airport management, large-scale event organization, or national defense, this program will offer something relevant to your work.

Angle of attack
A comprehensive C-UAS solution requires a lot of different perspectives. Insights from researchers, governments, industry and the military are all to be taken into account. However, for some solutions we need to look further into the sky. That is whyย NL Space Campusย & their partners will be joining us. Together with the experts fromย NUNC Capitalย and support from theย Province of South Holland, we have put together an amazing program.
You are invited
Join us onย Thursday June 12th @Unmanned Valley, to hear from international experts and experience the latest developments in Counter drone technology (C-UAS). Expect interactive sessions where youโll discover advanced detection technologies and effective ways to protect critical infrastructure and major events from unwanted drone activity.
We look forward to seeing you!
