Over the past week Maaike Smelter from NL Space Campus and Linda van Duivenbode from GroundstationDOTspace ran a fundraiser in support of NPO 3fm Serious Request which was called Space for the Rainforest. “We wanted to do this because the rainforests are of critical importance for life on Earth, biodiversity, and for the people living there, for all of us. I’m happy to report that we raised over a thousand Euros”, says Linda. “Thank you so much to the space community as well as friends and family who supported this”.
