How to Navigate Traffic and Reach NL Space Campus During NATO Summit 2025

NATO Summit 2025 โ€“ Traffic Measures Overview

The 2025 NATO Summit in the Netherlands represents a massive logistical and security effort, particularly affecting Noordwijk and surrounding areas. National and regional authorities are coordinating to maintain safety and accessibility, but significant traffic disruptions are expected.

National Disruptions (June 22โ€“27)

Preparations begin Sunday afternoon, June 22; disruptions will last until Thursday, June 26. Expect closures of highways (A5, A4, A44, N44), ramps, viaducts, and tunnels, as well as disruptions on local roads in The Hague, Wassenaar, Katwijk, Noordwijk, Haarlemmermeer, Leiden, and Rotterdam. Emergency services will have priority access.

Bollenstreek Region Access

The Bollenstreek will remain accessible, but travellers should expect longer journey times. Limit car travel where possible, opt for bikes or public transport, and expect traffic stops and congestion.
