ESA Phi-Lab Netherlands has selected its first project for support. The consortium led by Dunedain Space has been awarded funding to further develop and commercialise its research on optical tracking technologies, supporting the exploration and utilisation of space.
The contract has been signed, marking the start of the implementation phase.
The programme remains open for applications throughout the year. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and evaluated at fixed intervals. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit an Idea Outline by 12 September 2025 to receive feedback ahead of the upcoming full proposal deadline on 20 October 2025 at 13:00 CEST.
To support potential applicants, ESA Phi-Lab Netherlands will host an online Info Session on 8 August 2025 from 13:00 to 14:00 CEST. The session will provide an overview of the programme, explain the application process, and offer guidance on consortium building and thematic priorities.
