Like a Comet – Leidens Ontzet
On the eve of NL Space Week, the city of Leiden hosts its most spectacular annual tradition – the Great Parade commemorating the Leidens ontzet in 1574, when the city was liberated from Spanish siege.
This year’s cosmic theme “Like a Comet” creates the perfect bridge between historical celebration and space exploration, setting an inspiring tone for the week ahead.
