The EUDIS Defence Hackathon will take place simultaneously in eight EU countries and Norway, bringing together innovators to tackle pressing challenges for Europeβs defence sector. The Netherlands edition will be hosted by dotSPACE at NL Space Campus in Noordwijk.
Participants will work in teams to develop solutions for three challenges: β’ Protection of space assets β safeguarding Europeβs satellites and data against threats. β’ Space for defence β innovative uses of EO, navigation, and communication to support missions. β’ Sovereign aerospace β autonomous systems, drones, and countermeasures.
Prizes and opportunities
The winning Dutch teams will receive cash prizes, technical and business support, and access to follow-up programmes. National winners move on to a two-month EU-level mentorship programme, concluding with live pitching in front of Member States representatives. The top three across Europe will showcase their solutions at a high-profile international event.

How to join
Participants must be 18+, citizens and residents of the EU/Norway/Ukraine. Register via the TAIKAI platform by 10 October 2025 and form your team before the hackathon weekend.
