Solidflow, a Dutch technology company at the forefront of gas storage innovation, is looking for a (Junior) R&D Engineer to join its growing team based in the Space Business Innovation Centre (SBIC) in Noordwijk. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology—Cool Gas Generators—used in aerospace, defence, emergency systems, and medical applications. As part of a compact, multidisciplinary team of passionate engineers, you’ll get hands-on with projects that take off—some literally into space.
What You’ll Do
- Design mechanical and chemical subsystems using 2D/3D CAD-tools
- Write functional and technical specs in collaboration with clients
- Build and test prototypes for aerospace and other high-tech industries
- Contribute to both the development and reporting of technical processes
Who We’re Looking For
- A recent graduate or early-career engineer with a BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering
- A proactive, analytical team player with problem-solving skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- An EU nationality is required due to project requirements
