On 2 October, The Curiosity Contest will conclude its first edition with a final event where five student teams will present the projects they have developed over the past six months around the theme of Reuse & In-Situ Resource Utilisation (ISRU) in space.
The Curiosity Contest is a student-led initiative that gives students from different disciplines and educational levels the opportunity to explore the space sector through a practical challenge. During the first edition, five teams worked on projects related to Reuse & ISRU, supported by individual mentors and three workshops with professionals from the space industry.
Final pitches and project market
During the final event, the teams will pitch their projects to a jury and share the results of six months of work. Following the pitches, the jury will announce the winning team of the first Curiosity Contest.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the teams at the project market, learn more about their ideas and discuss their work directly with the participants.
The programme includes:
- Final project pitches from all five teams
- Announcement of the winning team by the jury
- A project market to meet the participants and explore their projects
- Opportunities to connect with students, mentors and people working in the space sector
- A closing celebration marking the end of the first edition
Open to everyone interested in space
The final event is open to anyone with an interest in or experience with the space sector. Students, professionals and others interested in Reuse, ISRU or the participating projects are welcome to attend.
