ESA Phi-Lab Netherlands call open: apply by 13 April 2026

ESA Phi-Lab Netherlands has opened its next call for projects, supporting the development of downstream data and technology for safe and resilient societies. The programme focuses on bridging research and market by funding and supporting the commercialisation of space-enabled solutions.

Applicants working with Earth Observation, Positioning, Navigation and Timing, secure satellite communications, or related capabilities are invited to submit their proposals.

Key deadlines

Applicants can submit an optional Idea Outline by 23 March 2026, allowing them to receive early feedback on their concept.

The deadline for full proposals is 13 April 2026 at 13:00.

To support applicants throughout the process, ESA Phi-Lab Netherlands provides access to the latest call materials and guidance documents. Applicants are encouraged to:

  • Download the latest version of the call document and proposal template
  • Review the Information Slides and Q&A summary from the recent info session
  • Use the available materials to better understand the scope, requirements and evaluation process

The Idea Outline step is optional but recommended, as it helps assess the fit of the proposal and refine it before full submission.
