| 14:00
- 18:00

On 12 May you will have the opportunity to visit 3 new facilities, with a tour and experts attending per location for all questions concerning using the facilities.

TESTAR, in collaboration with Antenna Systems Solutions, will host an opening event for a new antenna testing facility at SBIC Noordwijk on 12 May 2026. The system is designed as a transportable compact antenna test range and enables measurements from 8.2 GHz to 110 GHz. The opening event with tours to multiple facilities will take place from 14:00 till 18:00*.

The programme will start at 14:00ย with an introduction by TESTAR about the facilities. After the start, there will be tours** to all 3 facilities. Each location will offer a short explanation by an expert and a chance to have a look inside. Questions and answers can be discussed with the attending experts and after the tours at SBIC.

The programme will be closed by Meindert Stolk, Regional Minister Economy and Innovation Provincie Zuid-Holland.

Food and Drinks are offered by TESTAR, offering Spanish food and wine, brought in person from Spain.

This event is interesting for any potential user (startups, company, students, lecturers, professors, researchers, ESA staff and scientists) of the following facilities:

  1. TESTAR Small Antenna Test Facility by Asysolย

Professional antenna measurement services using itsย Compact Range Test Chamber. This containerized outdoor facility (anechoic chamber) delivers fast, repeatableย RF characterizationโ€”supporting measurements of antenna gain, radiation patterns (co and cross-polar), polarization, and other key parameters in aย controlled anechoic environment, with simpler access and logistics than traditional indoor facilities.

  1. Thermal Vacuum Chambers by Stellar Space Industriesย

An AS9100-certified company specializing in high-precision manufacturing and engineering services for the (aero)space industry, expanding its testing capabilities by providing thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing. This facility enables companies and researchers to perform critical environmental testing of space systems and components under representative space conditions, with short turnaround times.

  1. CometLab Fabrication Laboratory Prototype facilities by Stichting Cometlab

Fast and affordable experimentation, prototyping, manufacturing and meeting facilities. Availability of space related equipment and materials and opportunities for workshops, courses, lectures and trainings on relevant space topics.

This event has a maximum number of participants and is targeted towards startups and companies who are interested in using the facilities in the near future or find out about their potential for commercial use. There is a maximum amount of participants possible for this event. If you wish to attend, please send an email to d.kerkvliet@nlspacecampus.eu to receive the registration link.ย
