SpaceNed and NL Space Campus Collaborate with LITEK to Foster International Tech Connections
On 22 May SpaceNed and NL Space Campus hosted a delegation from LITEK, the Laser and Engineering Technologies Cluster from Lithuania, on campus. Multiple tech initiatives such as lasersatcom companies, researchers from universities and maritime monitoring startups were interested in connecting with initiatives in the Dutch Space Sector and startups at ESA BIC. In return, multiple startups from ESA BIC pitched for the Lithuania Tech Cluster.

With growing VC interest, resilient economic growth and many unicorns, Lithuania is one of the leading innovation hubs in Europe. The country is particularly seeing a growth in deeptech startups, supported by its life sciences innovation and large ambitions. Next to a growing tech cluster, Lithuania also opened a brand-new ESA BIC programme. This year was the first to take in startups to start the business incubation programme of ESA.
