Space Campus welcomes Stellar Space
With the Space Campus initiative starting to get traction, new activities are arising regarding the unlocking of the Space Campus terrain. Recently Stellar Space, formerly based in Leiden, joined the Space Campus.
Stellar Space provides rapid engineering and precision manufacturing of instruments, robotics, sub-systems and complex components for the Aerospace, Space, and Defense sector.
“Stellar Space Industries aims to be an early participant by participating in the endeavor of making the campus the hotspot for space. Our new location on the campus in Noordwijk enables us to increase our workshop size and to scale up”, says Jerre Sweers CEO / Managing Director of Stellar Space.
Additionally, the new location positions them favorably close to ESA. Stellar Space’s vision is to have their manufacturing and integration factory just next to ESA. Currently, most of the space projects in Europe are supported and funded by ESA. Stellar Space intends to also attract other space companies for new business development and to increase the capabilities of the Space Campus. With the aim of co-developing new technologies and/or products, Stellar Space is always open to partner-up for future projects.
