Esther Peters appointed Director of Space Campus Noordwijk

Esther Peters (47) has been appointed director of the newly established Space Campus Noordwijk foundation. She will lead the ambitious further development of the Space Campus into a Dutch hub for the development and application of new European space technology.

Esther Peters has extensive experience with complex issues relating to area developments and future-oriented area visions. Over the past eight years, she has fulfilled various leadership roles in the public-private sector. The combination of her corporate background (at Allen & Overy, Achmea and VNU, among others), her experience in the knowledge field (VSNU, Erasmus) and her extensive political management experience and network makes her the ideal person who can give the further development of the Space Campus a powerful impulse.

It is the ambition of the Space Campus to become the core of the international space cluster in the Netherlands, in the immediate vicinity of not only ESTEC and the Galileo Reference Center, but also the concentration of space industry and knowledge institutions in this part of the province.
