How will you use space technology and data to improve the European tourism industry? Join the CASSINI Hackathon Netherlands and explore how to use #EUSpace data & signals to preserve & promote some of the finest coastlines in Europe. As partner for the hackaton, we are excited to inform you that registrations are now open and no prior space experience is needed. Join the hackaton that will take place May 12 – 14 at the amazing Sunweb Group office in Rotterdam, hosted with SBIC and win great prizes!

Noordwijk and the nearby coastline has some of the highest-quality beaches in The Netherlands and beyond. Tourism is crucial to the local area, and at the 3rd CASSINI Hackathon, you'll be able to help more people enjoy the experiences it has to offer while safeguarding its sustainability for generations to come.

Noordwijk is also a hotbed of space technology and home of the Galileo Reference Centre, the Space EXPO space museum and the ESA's ESTEC R&D centre. This makes it the perfect place for space-related business solutions to combine with ideas for a future of tourism we can all enjoy.

Use #EUSpace data & signals to build sustainable solutions to global issues while reshaping the travel & tourism industry for a better future. Put your skills to the test and tackle one of three unique challenges to help create a resilient and digitally oriented tourism industry. Let's (Re)Visit Europe in style.

SBIC Noordwijk, together with PLNT and their main partner SUNWEB Group, will organise the CASSINI Hackathon The Netherlands this year from May 12 to May 14. This year’s theme is called (Re)Visit Europe. How will you use space technology and data to improve the European tourism industry?
